Aqua Osmotic systems - high quality demineralised water
Aqua Osmotic systems are designed for producing high quality demineralised water, available in several grades for analytical and technical applications.
The high quality of the permeate (purified water) is achieved using the reverse osmotic (RO) process, which reduces dissolved mineral substances concentration by 96% and organics by 98 % compared to the input (municipal) water. To attain specific electrical conductivity as low as 1 uS/cm or less, the water can be further purified in an ion exchange mixed bed.
The devices consist of a filter removing mechanical particles and chlorine, RO module and ion exchange cartridge. Most models can be equipped with a built-in conductivity monitor, process monitor, and ultraviolet lamp or a special filter for microbial treatment.
The advantage of the reverse osmosis devices is a cost effective production of hihg quality purified water without high demand of electrical energy, only by the pressure of the municipal feedwater (replaces thermal distillation in many applications).
The production cost per one litre of this water falls remarkably bellow CZK 1,- (Euro 0.03).
